Nuke Studio update selected shot in NIM, wrong icon

Post by dekekincaid »

In Nuke Studio when my edit has changed and I select clips, right click > NIM > Update selected shot in NIM. The icons that get uploaded are always from the absolute first frame in the source media in the timeline. The trouble is that if the edit I'm updating from is from the master r3d then I get a bunch of clapper icons or if I update from the the quicktime reference I get the same icon for every single shot in the sequence.

It would be great if the icons created were relative to the first frame for each clip in the edit rather then the source media.

Hi Deke,

Yes, we need to fix this. I believe the issue is that we are pulling the trackItem sourceIn and sourceOut and attempting to grab the middle frame where we should be pulling the first frame of the trackItem to match the timeline behavior. I've added this to the list of updated for the NS connector.

Thanks,
Andrew
