All Connectors - Timezone Problem

Post by kaiserlicht »

Hi!

This is probably a problem with the nim database, not the connectors themselves. We see the wrong date (9 hours off) in all our connectors when loading files. I already tried to change the timezone on the nim vm. So date shows the correct time and timezone in ubuntu, but this doesn't help. Did I miss a setting somewhere else?

Cheers,

Felix

Hi,

Have you set the Timezone preference for your user? Each user has their own timezone setting which is defined in the User/Preferences panel.

Yes, it's set to GMT+1 for all users and shows the correct time. But this didn't change anything.

Interesting, we'll take a look and try to recreate the issue here.

Hi!

Did you have time to look into this problem? I've just updated NIM and all the connectors to 2.0 and the problem is still there.

Cheers,

Felix

Hi Felix,

In 2.0 we did address a number of timezone issues but this fix did not make the release. I believe we have found the issue and are looking to address the problem in the next VM update which should appear in the next couple of weeks.

Sorry for the inconvenience and we'll get that updated as soon as we can.
